When it comes to planning a real African safari, the stakes can seem pretty high. Though what we know is that it is not the usual kind of vacation, but kind of vacation that is “trip of a lifetime”.
Why? You will be watching the greatest wildlife show on Earth.
In this Safari, you will travel in a land cruiser through the Great Rift Valley to Kenya’s national wildlife reserves. Kenya is famed for its scenic landscapes and wildlife. It boasts highly varied geographical features, ranging from snow-capped mountains to deserts, to savannah grassland and tropical wetlands. There are many lakes and rivers, too. During the game drives, you see the wildlife with the animals. You aim to find the “Big Five” animals, the elephant, rhino, cape buffalo, lion and leopard. Your driver guide lectures wildlife and ecology. You stay overnight at campsites with bungalows or luxury tent inside the parks. Meals are mostly buffet style serving western foods and including some local dishes. All campsites have either shared or private patio or a kind of high rise deck that looks out to a waterhole, a lake, river or over grassland where you can watch the animals come and go and the sunset or sunrise. You transfer to parks by land cruiser, passing through the countryside with farm scenery. You stop at small towns with important landmarks and curio shops for rest breaks.
